New film by Denys Khrystov

in the National Military Museum

Join us for the preview

from our friend's new movie

Denys Khrystov, perhaps the greatest Ukrainian hero.

Denys Khrystov, alias the Dutchman, risks his own life evacuating war victims from areas where almost no one else dares to go. He drives into front-line areas where most people are fleeing. Over the years, he has rescued hundreds of people from dire situations and literally saved hundreds of lives. His social media is filled with moments when he narrowly escaped death. He has survived multiple drone attacks.

You saw him regularly in our documentary "Fatatje Oorlog" (Chips in War) , and we carried out our very first evacuation in the Donbas alongside him, knees shaking. He also plays a key role in our television series "Fatatje Hoop" (Chips in Hope) . Our respect for him is immense, because we know better than anyone what his work entails.

We previously had the pleasure of hosting the premiere of his previous film, 1 Percent of War, in Eindhoven. It was a huge success, with visitors from all over the country and even beyond.
