Our Next Trip to the Front Lines (August–September)

We’re back in the Netherlands for a short while. But on August 26, we’ll be heading back to Ukraine to provide aid in the frontline area.

Despite the immense loss of our very best friends, Alyona and Zhenya, we’re going back once again. With their passing, we lost a large part of the heart of our organization. Yet we’re certain that they would have wanted nothing more than for us to carry on. That’s exactly what we’ll continue to do.
 

Of course, we’ll first head to our second Holland House, located between Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi, where renovations have now begun. We hope to welcome our first guests there soon.

We’re also organizing another children’s vacation for (orphaned) children from the war zone.

This is already the third vacation we’re organizing this year in the safest part of Ukraine.
 

After that, we’ll travel on to our first Holland House in Dnipro, about 80 kilometers from the front lines. We’ve already taken in dozens of war victims here. The goal is to provide people from the most dangerous areas with a temporary safe haven until a permanent shelter can be found elsewhere in Ukraine. Many of our guests have been evacuated from the frontline area either by us or by Denys Khrystov.
 

During this trip, we’ll also be handing out fries again—sometimes more than 2,000 servings in a single day. We’ll visit the animal shelter in Cherkasy, which we previously relocated from Myrnohrad, assist war victims in the Donbas, and, if conditions permit, carry out evacuations once more.
 

As with every trip, we never know exactly what we’ll encounter beforehand. One thing we do know: as long as the war continues, we’ll keep going back.
 

For security reasons, we can’t disclose everything about our plans in advance. Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more details step by step. During and after the trip, we’ll post new videos and stories on our social media channels.
